Roy for MVP?

Over at nba.com Roy has moved into the top 20 for the MVP race.

"The heartbeat of the leagues youngest team, Roy is a combo guard who can shoot the rock, has great handles and because of his size (6-6 230 pounds) and quickness, can defend multiple positions."

And I would of thought that only Blzer fans would have out Roy in the MVP race. It is amazing to see what Roy has done this year and I think there is a direct link between when Roy stated he wanted to play the point more and the better play of the team. Roy has been a major factor for this team going from the early season predictions that the Blazers would win less games then last year to a team over .500.
